A Dream of Multiplayer
Mafia 2 Online started in 2018 as a passion project by a small group of dedicated modders who believed that Empire Bay deserved to be experienced with friends. What began as a simple proof-of-concept has grown into one of the most ambitious multiplayer modifications ever created.
Our team reverse-engineered the game's networking protocols, built custom synchronization systems, and created a robust server architecture that allows hundreds of players to share the same streets of Empire Bay simultaneously.
